Carl Henderson
Technical Assistant
Mississippi Power Early Learning

As a technical assistant with the Mississippi Power early Learning Program, Carl Henderson visits child care centers and provides one-to-one training in language and literacy instruction.  Henderson began working with children after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human sciences, with an emphasis in child life, from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2002. He has worked as an assistant teacher at the Center for Child Development at the University of Southern Mississippi, as a preschool teacher at Small Miracles Child Development Center, and as a counselor in adolescent mental health.
