Carol Jones, M.S.
Director
Aiken Village Preschool

Carol Jones is the director of Aiken Village Preschool, a program of the Mississippi State University Early Childhood Institute.

She holds the Master of Science degree in early childhood education from Mississippi University for Women and a Master of Science degree in community college education, with a minor in home economics, from Mississippi State University. 

Ms. Jones was an assistant professor in the Department of Human Science at MSU for 11 years, teaching courses in child development and teaching at the MSU Child Development Center. For 13 years, she was director of First United Church Weekday Ministries. She was a consultant for the Partners for Quality Child Care Program during the program’s first year of operation.

Ms. Jones says her goal is to be an advocate for young children and their families while providing an exemplary child care program for MSU students, staff and the Starkville community.

She lives in Starkville and is married to Bill Jones. They have two grown children.
