System

Freda Kirkland is a monitor for the Mississippi Child Care Quality Step System. She holds the bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in child and family studies from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). She was a family resource coordinator at the USM Center for Child Development for four years. Also at Southern Miss, Kirkland was an adjunct instructor in the Department of Child and Family Studies, teaching classes in early childhood behavior guidance.
