Irish Meaders graduated from Amory (Mississippi) High School with honors in 1999. She earned an associate degree in early childhood education at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi, and is working toward a degree in educational psychology at Mississippi State University. She plans to work as a school counselor at the elementary level. She lives in Amory and has a three-year-old daughter named Layken Elizabeth Gunn.
